Rebranding of the Droga5 LGBTQ+ affinity group Q5. The logo combines the letter Q + 5 whilst the negative space in its center forms a speech bubble. The speech bubble represents the idea of having a voice, standing up and being heard. The speech bubble also refferences the idea of conversations, which have become an important part of celebrating pride for the queer comunity both internally and with the wider community.
Due to Covid19, Pride 2020 is a digital one as the office is closed and communal gatherings are canceled. Playing off the stripes of the Pride flag, the design system uses inclusive colors taken from the various flag identities of the LGBTQIA+ community. The staggered gradients give the system a sense of movement and also pay homage to glitch art, referencing the digital medium of this years celebrations.
